"Every child deserves to feel confident, connected, and celebrated as they learn to communicate. "

Our Story

Grow for It was founded on the belief that every child deserves to feel confident, connected, and celebrated as they learn to communicate. This vision began to take shape when our Principal Speech Pathologist, Pauliné, saw just how transformative therapy could be when it embraced joy, creativity, and connection. As part of our commitment to high-quality Melbourne Children Speech Pathology, we believe that therapy should be meaningful and engaging from the start.

During a school holiday program, Pauliné was the only clinician to incorporate obstacle courses and imaginative play into therapy sessions. Her engaging approach stood out—so much so that a 7-year-old participant shared joyfully, “We are learning and having fun at the same time!” It was in moments like this that the idea for Grow for It took root: therapy could be effective and playful, and should reflect each child’s strengths, interests, and culture—an approach we continue to champion in our Melbourne Children Speech Pathology services.

These experiences gave her a strong foundation in intercultural understanding—something that now deeply informs her clinical work and shapes our culturally responsive approach to Melbourne Children Speech Pathology.

Before becoming a speech pathologist, Pauliné built a successful career in marketing, working with global brands such as L’Oréal and BMW, and later taught marketing to culturally diverse young adults. Her double degree in Arts and Marketing from Monash University included Mandarin language studies, reflecting an early interest in the richness of communication across cultures.

As a mother, Pauliné was inspired by her own children’s communication journeys. This personal experience led her to pursue a Master of Speech Pathology at Charles Sturt University. While studying, she noticed a lack of accessible and culturally responsive services, especially for bilingual and multilingual families. This gap sparked the creation of Grow for It—a practice rooted in community, inclusion, and meaningful connection, and now recognised for delivering thoughtful, inclusive Melbourne Children Speech Pathology.

Today, Pauliné leads a passionate team of Speech Pathology Aides that delivers therapy in homes, schools, and early learning centres across South-East Melbourne. The team speaks Australian English, Vietnamese, Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Korean—allowing them to connect with families in their home language and build relationships grounded in trust, cultural respect, and shared understanding. Regular check-ins with families consistently highlight positive outcomes and strong relationships, contributing to the rapid growth of the Grow For It team. This community-based model is central to how we deliver Melbourne Children Speech Pathology with care and intention.

To make services more accessible, Grow for It also works with rigorously trained Speech Pathology Aides who deliver therapy under Pauliné’s guidance. Each team member is either qualified in, or currently pursuing, a degree or master’s in health or linguistics. This collaborative model ensures timely, high-quality support tailored to each child—something families have come to value in our Melbourne Children Speech Pathology services.

At Grow for It, we know that your child’s communication is more than speech—it’s about expressing identity, building relationships, and creating a sense of belonging. Above all, we offer fun and effective care that your child looks forward to—just one of the many ways we’re redefining Melbourne Children Speech Pathology.
